John and Elis had their best days ever this week, with John drinking ale and watching cricket, and Elis watching Wales beat Belgium 1-0. There’s also news of John at the Southbank Awards, Elis’ feeling sad, and a brand new feature, complete with bespoke jingle, in the form of Humble Brag Of The Week. Plus Winner Plays On, Textual Healing and Email Of The Species. Remember, tune in next Saturday to catch the boys from 10am til 1pm, get in touch on [email protected] (if you’re on e-mail. You’ve got to be on e-mail), and keep it Xfm.

This episode comes with a warning – Please be advised that this Podcast contains Elis James and John Robins acting out how to kiss on the radio. Unsurprisingly its quite unsettling. Other than that though, we discuss how to structure an anecdote correctly. John is slightly peeved by losing out on 10’s of thousands of retweets, and the team advise boiling water to sterilize it before putting it in a water pistol. Remember, tune in next Saturday to catch the boys from 10am til 1pm, get in touch on [email protected] (if you’re on e-mail. You’ve got to be on e-mail), and keep it Xfm.

We’ve got it all this week – debates on language, daytime radio topics, a Philip Larkin poem, logo chat, and some disturbing news about Screech from Saved By The Bell. Plus A Robins Amongst The Pigeons, Winner Plays On, Textual Healing and Email of the Species. Remember, tune in next Saturday to catch the boys from 10am til 1pm, get in touch on [email protected] (if you’re on e-mail. You’ve got to be on e-mail), and keep it Xfm.

This week Elis showcased his class-transgressing skills by asking you to name things that used to be posh but aren’t anymore. And, in between riffs, John discussed the armpit hair of Team Elis & John. There were also notes on Middle Eastern Policy, the return of David Mellor, and the usual Textual Healing, A Robins Amongst The Pigeons, Email of the Species and Winner Plays On. Remember, tune in next Saturday to catch the boys from 10am til 1pm, get in touch on [email protected] (if you’re on e-mail. You’ve got to be on e-mail), and keep it Xfm.

John believes that Pizza Express Romana Pizzas use the same amount of dough as the classic base pizzas, therefore the extra charge is not justified. So the boys asked for your conspiracy theories. Also in Textual Healing, Elis and John try to help find a lost dog. Tune in next Saturday to catch the boys from 10am til 1pm and get on email at [email protected]

It just gets better doesn’t it? You lucky lot – here’s an extra special bonus Elis & John podcast! The duo filled in for Josh Widdicombe on Sunday morning, so we’ve put together the best bits. Elis & John talked gatecrashing, Super Furry Animals (again), The Gauge Debate (briefly) and brought a little Textual Healing fun to Sundays. Remember, tune in next Saturday to catch the boys live from 10am til 1pm, and get in touch on [email protected]

What a week. Post-election, post-Super Furry Animals, post-Robins’ birthday. All this was discussed by James and Robins, though perhaps more coherently by John. Elis was rather hungover. We also wanted to hear about when you’ve been told off in public, and, as ever, there’s more Winner Plays On, Textual Healing, Email of the Species and a special chapter of A Robins Amongst The Pigeons. Remember, tune in next Saturday to catch the boys from 10am til 1pm, get in touch on [email protected] (if you’re on e-mail. You’ve got to be on e-mail), and keep it Xfm.

Welcome back. Elis and John heard about your devotion and loyalty to bands, sports teams and events this week, before doling out fashion advice; blue is in this summer; and BROADCASTING LIVE EMAIL ANALYSIS. Alongside John preparing the guestlist (and wifi) for his birthday, there’s Textual Healing, A Robins Amongst The Pigeons, Winner Plays On and Email of the Species. Remember, tune in next Saturday to catch the boys from 10am til 1pm, get in touch on [email protected] (if you’re on e-mail. You’ve got to be on e-mail), and keep it Xfm.

Two things to tell you this week team. Number 1 - get ready, brace yourself. Producer Dave is back! It’s The Dream Team. Robins, James, and post-honeymoon Dave. Number 2 – sure there’s all the regular features (a tense low-scoring Winner Plays On, more A Robins Amongst The Pigeons, Textual Healing, a bumper double edition of Email of the Species), but mainly this week it’s all about coleslaw. You’ll see. Remember, tune in next Saturday to catch the boys from 10am til 1pm, get in touch on [email protected] (if you’re on e-mail. You’ve got to be on e-mail), and keep it Xfm.
