  • EP 333 | Stay close to the money featuring Frenchie Ferenczi
Frenchie Ferenczi is a growth and marketing strategist for overwhelmed (but seriously ambitious) experts and creatives. She keeps small business owners stay close to the money and on the path to revenue growth. From having sold out launches to spending more time with their kids, she empowers her clients to achieve their biggest business goals without falling victim to the business grind.

    TAKEAWAYS:
    • Listen to your customers and your audience. Understand the information that your people are feeding back to you. Analyze and look at the information you get from them and how that can help you reach your goals.
    • Strategize how you are going to use that information to map out your time and money to get to that place. Obsess over the type of work that is going to get you to your goal.
    • Prioritize what’s most aligned with your strategy and your goals. What’s the bare minimum you have to do because this is where your strategy really informs you on what you have to do to stay close to the money.
    • After you get your information, strategize and decide what you are prioritizing, monetize everything. It’s all about doing the work to get you to this point and then measure the small and big wins along the way to keep you going.

I’m curious! Have you tried any of these email automations? If not, which one will you try first?

    TAKEAWAYS:
    • First email automation is the auto-subscribe. This is a way to get your current email subscribers to get into a new funnel.
    • The second email automation you need is removing someone from a Pitch Sequence when they buy.
    • The third email automation you need is the click to watch the replay of a Masterclass, which enters your lead into a Pitch Sequence.

  • EP 331 | Epic giveaways featuring Shannon Tacheny
Shannon Tacheny is a Brand and Marketing Strategist for big-hearted female entrepreneurs. Owner of Feather Blue Studios, founder of The Small Business Bay, and entrepreneur of over 15 years (including 10 running her previous photography studio) she helps women grow deeply rooted businesses that draw their favorite clients with ease, while skipping the “salesey” feelings and awkward online trends.

She loves chai tea, the beach, all things blue, dark chocolate, give-back boutiques, and her hubbie and 3 kids (one who happens to be taller than her now).

Shannon loves collaborating with other women in business and helping entrepreneurs see how a strategically-developed brand story can open up beautiful new opportunities.

    TAKEAWAYS:
    • Keep your giveaway simple. Make it easy for collaborators to join and want to say yes! Shannon had her collaborators contribute 1 item to the giveaway and send out 2 emails. She felt like this was an easy ask and people were happy to join with her in this giveaway.
    • Draw in on brand followers. Make sure that as you are trying to grow your followers, you get the right ones. Shannon explains in the episode a technique she used in her giveaway to make sure she was getting quality followers.
    • Giveaways and events can grow your email list. As you choose to work with collaborators who have similar audiences, you essentially create a win-win situation where you each support and celebrate each other’s businesses while growing your audience.

  • EP 330 | Visual reminders of success
I am a VERY cerebral person. Meaning, I need things spelled out very succinctly and in a very obvious way. I’m also an enneagram 9, which means I love to stay in my comfort zone. So goal achievement has ALWAYS been hard for me in my business.

Now in things like sports, I’m good to go. I'm pretty atheltic, so I've been relatively good at most sports I've tried. Again because I'm a very cereberal person, it's very obvious with a sport if you've accomplished your goal. You etiher win or lose. There's no gray area, only black or white.

With business, because I’m in charge, there’s no one really holding me accountable. Goal achievement isn't so obvious, and unlike with sports, running a business is not something that comes naturally to me.

So, I created a visual reminder of my sales this year so I can clearly see if I am actively reaching my goals. My intention in sharing this with you is to help you establish some sort of visual reminder to help you very clearly see if and how close you are to your goal.

    TAKEAWAYS:

    • Find a system that keeps you accountable to yourself. I don’t care what your goal is, but have something that visually reminds you how close you are to reaching your goal. And it’s fun when you start to hit it and can visually see the results too!
    • Creating something visible forces you to slow down. When you can see where you have been and where you are going, it’s easier to know what you need to do next without overthinking or thinking about the big things too quickly.
    • Make it easy and make it obvious. In this episode I share with you the goal wall I created that has a clear system that helps me track how close I am to my goals. It’s very clear to me when I am near or not near my goal. You could do something similar or find something else that works for you but don’t over complicate it.

  • EP 329 | Growing with intention featuring Megan Sumrell
Megan Sumrell is a former corporate techie turned entrepreneur. As a business owner, mom, and wife, she knows exactly how hard it is to juggle #allthethings while still maintaining your own sense of self and purpose. When her daughter was born in 2010, life as she knew it completely changed. After struggling to manage work, motherhood, family, etc, Megan set about a new way to manage her time and organize her calendar. She took her 20+ year career in systems and processes and applied it to one of her favorite things…time management!

She is the creator of the TOP Program and TOP Planner, a program and planner that teaches her proprietary system and processes regarding time management, organization and productivity.

    TAKEAWAYS:
    • Work backwards when you’re planning. Start with your week, then monthly, quarterly and annual. It’s important to get your day-to-day routine organized before moving onto the big things.
    • Have systems and repetitive routines set up. This will help with your time management and making sure things that are rinse and repeat get done while also getting new and future projects accomplished.
    • Automate your systems. This especially helps when you need someone to fill in a job. Megan has created Loom videos attached to tasks so that when someone is unable to complete a task, someone else from the team can step in and get it done so they don’t get behind.
    • Create a business where your revenue isn’t dependent on you constantly showing up. Megan has a goal to keep decreasing her work days and hours so that she can show up in her life the way she wants. This takes a lot of planning and organizing and teamwork to set up a business that creates revenue through funnels and automation versus always having to do live launches.

  • EP 328 | Weekly masterclasses
I came to the conclusion in early 2023 that if I wanted different results this year, I would have to actually do something differently. I’ve wanted to, for YEARS, have a masterclass that converts. Like a tried and true, somewhat internet-famous, masterclass that calls in soulmate clients.

But doing a masterclass every quarter, like I’ve seen a lot of the experts do, and also advice that I’ve been given by coaches that I’ve worked with, didn’t help me to do it often enough. I wanted to rinse and repeat, so that I could adjust and tweak and so the lack of frequency wasn’t really helping me to create that masterclass. So I decided to create a weekly masterclass and I started to see results. This episode I’ll share with you how I organized my masterclass and the things I learned from doing a weekly masterclass!

    TAKEAWAYS:

    • Always get your masterclass in front of new leads. I do this by doing lead magnet swaps, Meta Ads, and summits. It’s important to know where your leads are coming from and that you track your conversions with different lead sources.
    • The more you do your masterclass, the more confident you will be in presenting and also in asking people to join your programs. The more times you do something, the faster you will see results.
    • Tweak one thing at a time. If your conversion isn’t changing in your masterclasses, pick one thing to fix and try that differently the next time. Only choose one though. If you change too many things at once, you won’t know what tweak gives you better results.
    • The more people you get to join live, the more people will buy. When people show up live they are interactive. You need people to show up live to create that know, like and trust factor which then leads to people to what you are offering.

  • EP 327 | Ditching vanity metrics featuring Allyn Miller
Ready to face the toddler years without endless power struggles? Then you should know Allyn Miller.

After years of teaching in early childhood classrooms, Allyn became a certified parenting coach and founder of Child Connection. As the creator of the Pause~Presence~Play Method, she helps exhausted moms thrive in the toddler years and beyond, with less fighting and more fun.

She also shares her parenting philosophy and insights as a blog contributor for the Jai Institute for Parenting and The Baby Chick.

When not celebrating “aha” moments with her clients, you can find this chocoholic mama splashing in the ocean waves near her home of Weston, Florida, or snuggling on the couch with her husband and two kids watching the latest Pixar movie.

    TAKEAWAYS:
    • Be consistent and engaged on your social media. Allyn will break up her social media time by spending 20 minutes creating a post and then 40 minutes having conversations and looking at profiles she admires to see what things people are talking about that she is interested in.
    • Developing relationships with people can be simple. Often we wonder how we can connect with others without coming across like we have an agenda. One way to do this is to have simple conversations. Maybe this is started from a story you post about your day and people comment or chat back with you. It doesn’t have to be fancy
    • If you want to see more success in your business, start with relationships. When you focus on connecting with people, they will most likely recommend you to others. It then becomes a ripple effect and more organic for people to connect with you. It can be unexpected and beautifully surprising.

  • EP 326: Selling outside of the pitch sequence
I’m a HUGE fan of selling something, as soon as someone enters onto your email list. Why? Because it creates a culture of selling. And as a result of that selling…buying. And when people buy from you they can create and experience transformation and you can pay for things!

It's a win, win for everyone involved!

But how do you sell outside of your normal Pitch Sequence and gain that know, like, trust factor to keep your leads coming back for more? Let me tell you all about it in this episode!

    TAKEAWAYS:
    • There are 5 places you can sell outside of your Pitch Sequence. They include your tripwire, in the welcome email, inside of the lead magnet, your Nurture Sequence, and content you are driving from in your Nurture Sequence. I’ll give you more details for each of these in the episode!
    • I would recommend that this thing you’re going to be selling be a low-priced digital product, somewhere between the $7 - $47 range. I find with these 5 places, anything above $47 just doesn’t get bought.
    • There’s also another benefit to selling even if your lead doesn’t buy, they still know you are open for business. And so the unsubscribes for selling are much less, because you’ve established this as how you do things, from the onset.

  • EP 325 | Hosting events featuring Erin Newman
Erin Newman is a speaker, author, Money Mindset Mentor, and Soul Fire Ignitrix for women entrepreneurs. She helps business owners to overcome mindset blocks to money and income, so that they can truly do what lights them up in their business AND make the income they desire. Through a mixture of mindset and energetic healing tools, Erin helps women to finally vanquish the mind gremlins, follow their soul purpose, and create a new pathway to abundance, success, and joy.

    TAKEAWAYS:
    • Erin leads everyone to her email list. She feels that her email list is where she most connects with her audience and shares her best thoughts and content.
    • Speaking at live events is a great space for you to present yourself as an expert. You have a message and something to say. Being in front of an audience almost always puts you in a position to see results.
    • It’s important to know who your audience is and that what you have to offer will benefit the audience. At the beginning of speaking, Erin spoke to anyone who would listen. But as she started to do it more, she realized what type of audience would better receive her message.
    • You should be constantly getting out of your comfort zone. You should always try to be getting in front of new people by being a guest on a podcast, doing speaking events online and in person or any other platform you might not have tried before.

  • EP 324 | Collapsing timelines
What if instead of achieving your goal in 12 months, you could achieve it in 3 months?

This was a question I asked myself a while ago and it really created a lot of momentum in my business. And let's call it like it is, momentum breeds results.

In this episode of the 6-Figure Secrets Podcast I’m going to share with you some very specific steps I took in my business to see results in a shorter amount of time.

But before we dive in, I do want to remind you that my way of achieving results isn’t the only way to achieve results. I don’t want you to feel like you have to copy and paste what I did, but I want to help get your wheels turning so you can achieve your goals and get the results you want.

    TAKEAWAYS:
    • When you take action, you create momentum. When you create momentum, you breed results. So finding those tactics that bring you the best results is where you will create that momentum.
    • Try new things even if they fail. Sometimes things you try won’t work and that’s ok. That just means you haven’t found the thing that will speed up your results. Keep trying and lean into discomfort to get more ideas for your business.
    • These last two takeaways are two things I want to challenge you to do. (1) First, establish your goal. What is a goal you can set for the next month or the next 3 months that seems a bit out of reach (if that’s how you’re motivated)? (2) Then, what are all of the ways you can achieve your goal? I’m going to give you the same challenge that I gave myself, write down 50 ways you can potentially achieve your goal that are action based.
