A client recently asked me, "How does it feel to be averaging 50K months?"

They were probably expecting answers like, "It feels unbelievable," or "I'm the happiest I've ever been," or "It's f*cking insane."

You want to know what my answer actually was?

"It feels neutral."

I can hear you already: "Whaaat the f*ck, Michelle? You make some people's annual salary in 30-odd days, and that just feels NORMAL to you?"

Honestly…yeah.

Anything gets to become normal if we do it for long enough. But more than that, most people expect a different answer because they're chasing money for different reasons…either to escape a feeling or to finally achieve a feeling.
