Ep. 192 Q&A - Eating Late at Night, Tracking Veggies, Struggling to Stop Eating, Meal Plans, and Supplementing Magnesium - Coaches Roundtable

On this week’s episode of The Coaches Roundtable, we’re bringing you another Q&A Podcast! 

In this episode, we answered the following questions:

  1. Are raw vegetables lower in calories than cooked vegetables if there's nothing but water added in the cooking process? In MFP cooked broccoli is higher in calories than raw broccoli. Almost double the calories. Should we just weigh out the raw veggies( I use fresh) log that then cook them? It's hard to be accurate when there are a dozen different entries. You don't th know what to choose

  2. Whenever supplements get mentioned, magnesium is always recommended to be on the top of the list. What does it do? Why is it so good for you and how do you know which ones to take since there are so many different types of magnesium?

  3. Does eating later affect your sleep enough to notice? My ring tells me not to eat so late when I don't sleep well. I know it's tech but curious if there's merit to that kinda advice.

  4. I've noticed that one thing I really struggle with, and I'm not sure why, is once I start eating I have a hard time stopping. It's kind I'm always looking for the next thing. Lol. I don't know why.

  5. I struggle with knowing what to eat, I know you all have said in the past you’re not a fan of meal plans, but couldn’t that help me? I just want someone to tell me what to eat and how much to eat.
