Dr. Peter C. Gøtzsche is a Danish physician, medical researcher, and former leader of the Nordic Cochrane Center at the Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen, Denmark. He is the co-founder of the Cochrane Collaboration, and was a former pharmaceutical representative for the company Astra-Syntex. Dr. Gøtzsche has been one of the leading figures speaking out about malpractice in the pharmaceutical industry, as well as many other health related industries.
