We would probably all agree that listening in on your partner’s therapy sessions or reading their journals is wrong, but what about reading their ChatGPT history? More and more people are working through issues in their personal lives using their AI chatbots as a journal-meets-therapist, and that might include relationship issues. And when someone inevitably finds some less than flattering information about themselves typed out to their partner’s own personal robot… shit gets sticky. Everyone is entitled to their privacy, but with new technologies, do new lines need to be drawn?
