I’ve talked about this before, but doing the work fucking sucks. It’s hard. It requires you to delve into places you might’ve kept locked up for years and years…maybe even since childhood. It takes a lot for a person to decide they need to do that work on their own, and it’s even less likely that they’re going to decide to do it because someone else is nagging them to.

There are ways to get your partner to do the work, but there are also plenty of ways you can do it all wrong. Let me tell you the best way to get your partner interested in doing the work with you.
