When you’re running an agency, the hustle is constant. Constantly trying to fill your pipeline, constantly pitching, constantly chasing and closing clients, then all the work for those clients you landed. Plus communications, various fires that always need putting out, meetings…
People build these agencies because they love creative work and because they want to help clients, but they build it in a model that inherently makes work-life balance almost impossible.
The truth is the agency life is hard. Which is one reason why Steve and I had to create another way forward.
