This week on the better with running podcast, we get an update from Chris after his lighter training week, with less volume his body has bounced back and some promising signs as he managed to get onto the hallowed track in Shepparton for some mile reps, throwing the dragonflys and nailing his session and most importantly pulling up well.
Zacca battles through a reduced week with his niggle, but still manages to hit a solid fartlek, before eyeing off a return to racing with a parkrun on the weekend.
Steven 'Kiwi' Langdon joins the boys once again to talk about the mental side of running, we firstly hear about his success over the 1500m and his insights into what goes into racing that distance, before shifting focus onto the topic of motivation.
Steve talks about how you can keep motivated, what the difference between intrinsic and extrinsic motivation is, how we can stay motivated whilst injured and what it's like coming back from an injury and navigating that. Â And finally, he also defends his Ice cream recommendations.
In this weeks Run2PB Hero of the week segment, Sarah Jayamaha is recognised for her Parkrun P.B in amongst her training block for a 24hr track run, which has Chris and Zacca very impressed and posing a few questions!
In world record chat, the boys are excited to see Canadian running magazine has covered Erchana's world record.
