This week, Chris and Zacca host two remarkable #run2pb athletes who excelled at the Melbourne Marathon, achieving significant personal bests. First up is Jo Bailey, coached by Sophie Fitt. Jo shares her running journey, revealing how she fostered a love for the sport through running podcasts and ultimately made substantial improvements in her 5k, 10k, Half, and Marathon times. Jo's standout performance at the Melbourne Marathon resulted in a 20-minute PB.
The second guest is Tom Scanlan, under the guidance of coach Andy Buchanan. Tom, a former football player, discusses his transition into running and his ambition in 2019 to break the 3-hour mark. Fast forward to today, and Tom has made impressive strides, achieving a time of 2:52. He shares insights into his training journey with Andy Buchanan and offers a glimpse into his future plans.
