Everything we’re looking for – freedom, realizing your true nature, peace – is about letting go of everything we thought was true and real.

It’s a massive letting go. Anything we cling to, or even believe, holds us back.

This includes all pointers and all paradigms. Pointers and paradigms are like a flaming arrow. We follow where the arrow is sailing but we don’t grab onto it and carry it around afterward.

Perhaps part of the clinging to paradigms is out of fear. Someone else seems wiser than us. Someone’s insight was bigger than ours and so we hook ourselves to their words.

You can trust yourself. You have to trust yourself. Their words and paradigms and “understanding” are only pointers. They were never meant to be carried through time.
