Tawny and Lisa talk with Deni Carise, Ph.D., a founder and the Chief Science Officer of Recovery Centers of America (RCA). Tawny recently met Deni at RCA’s Break Free sober fashion event (yes, a sober fashion event!). At 18, Deni left home to pursue modeling and fell into cocaine addiction. Once she got sober, Deni went back to community college and chased her studies the way she had chased her addiction. Throughout her career, she has helped people all over the world find treatment and recovery. And to cap it off, she finally got to walk the runway at New York Fashion Week!
