If you spend long enough working on your business, you eventually come to the realization that nothing happens overnight. That’s why investing in sustainable growth for your business is so important. It’s not about getting there fast, and the truth is that rarely happens anyways. It’s about keeping a consistent pace you can maintain.
The more time, energy, and resources you invest in doing things right in your business (as opposed to doing them quickly), the better the outcome will be. If you’re really focused on reaching your goals, it’s time to go deep and spend time diving into making the foundation of your business the absolute best it can be.
The first place to go deep is within yourself. Instead of following the herd or confirming just because, take the time to discover and define what your true desires are. Use this to stay aligned with reaching your business goals in a way that feels right for you. When you feel uncertain, trust your instincts.
Next, go deep on your systems and schedules. Focus on building a team that can ultimately run your business for you. Remember: It takes time and effort to find and develop the right people and get them immersed in your business and brand.
You will also want to go deep with your most valuable clients—the ones who are producing 80% of your business. Make sure they feel heard and understood. Help them see how you are going to support them through their growth journey. Lastly, solve deeper rooted problems. This will save you from getting stuck in the same issues again and again.
