Today we're joined by Lexi Yoo, a nurse practitioner and the CEO of Yoo Direct Health. Lexi got into functional medicine several years ago after a role she had running a medical weight loss program. It was at this time she was given the opportunity to work with a doctor of osteopathy, which opened her world to holistic modalities.

When she decided to branch out on her own, she decided to focus on helping women. These women came to her seeking weight loss, and she primarily focused on supporting hormones, adrenal health, and gut health. Eventually, these women were feeling so great they came back to her looking for ways to achieve the amazing aesthetics that matched how they felt.

Lexi emphasizes the power of sleep, exercise, mindset, and nutrition for overall health for herself and for her patients. It's not always easy, but if it's important to you, you'll make it a priority. Sleep is crucial when it comes to balancing hormones and reducing signs of aging, and is therefore just as important as any peptide you can take.

If Lexi could pass along one piece of advice to her fellow female entrepreneurs, it would be this: Build the infrastructure around you to support the things you want to do. Lexi has a house manager, a personal assistant, a general manager, and a practice manager. She's not doing it all by herself, nor should other CEOs feel like they have to.

Lexi has started Yoo Direct Health (YDH) Training Academy, a virtual classroom aimed at educating healthcare providers looking to advance their knowledge in the areas of integrative medicine, regenerative therapies, and aesthetic advancements. The lessons are practical, actionable, and up to date, and provide the value of an on-site education online.
