Model, activist, and now author, Munroe Bergdorf, joined Floss live at the podcast show for a Floss’ Five followed by a scintillating exploration of life, love and their illustrious careers. Munroe is a cornerstone of the UK queer community, is a wildly successful model and is a trailblazing voice for social justice, defending the rights of people of colour and marginalised genders.

Munroe exemplifies abundance and tells Floss about why she extends the ladder behind her, as well as delivering some wise words on creating space, falling in love, personal growth journeys and maintaining both authenticity and boundaries with the public. Munroe has an incredible podcast called “ The Way We Are” and is one of the most visible transgender people in the UK. As a queer, black, trans woman she stands herself at the intersection of many multiple identities and uses her platform to advocate for other marginalized people. She is a patron of the charity Mermaids, an advocate for UN Women UK, and last year, she was added to L’Oréal’s Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Board; mending her relationship with the cosmetics giant after they controversially dropped her from a campaign in 2017 for calling out white privilege and racism. Her achievements and accolades are really quite mind boggling.
