This week, we chat to devoted mum, Kate Twigg, about her journey with breast cancer (that would be Gary), and more recently, Leukaemia (Gary’s uninvited mate, Larry). Through breathwork, meditation, yoga, and a richly stocked dress-up box, Kate’s found her own way to cope through diagnosis, treatment and the repercussions that a cancer journey brings. 

The unexpected by-product of Kate’s cancer diagnosis was the confronting realisation she was using alcohol as a coping mechanism. We discuss our drinking culture, habits (eek), and the importance of setting boundaries.
