Katie has recently completed her PhD titled ‘Eating behaviours, body image and mental health: updated estimates of adolescent health, well-being and positive functioning in Aotearoa NZ.” Throughout this conversation we dive into Katies work and her findings, and the issues surrounding bad body image for girls and women.

Jordie has spent the last 20 years with Nike working across the brand in many differing functions - including retail, digital, and apparel for running and women's fitness. This week we have the amazing Annika Pfitzinger on the pod. Anni is a kiwi runner who grew up with two very successful running parents. Her father, Pete, represented the US in the ‘84 and ‘88 Olympics for the marathon and mother, Christine, ran for NZ at the ‘88 Olympics. Anni excelled at running through her teenage years and early twenties, but over the last 5 years has suffered severe health challenges. Thankfully Anni has come back stronger than ever and recently placed second at the New Zealand Cross Country champs. We can't wait for you to hear her story of strength and resilience.
