Aja Naomi King is a wife, mother, advocate, and - of course - a talented actress best known for her role as Michaela Pratt in How to Get Away with Murder. But despite slaying professionally (dozens of TV & Film roles and accolades like winning the "Rising Star Award" at the Essence Black Women In Hollywood event), it wasn’t always easy.

Life happens… and even though Aja was talented & tough, there were also insecurities to overcome… some were amplified as a Black woman due to beauty culture’s lack of representation. It stung, and it subtly, subconsciously stuck with her… and she became determined to help re-shape society to empower women of all races to feel celebrated, supported, and seen… and she found the perfect way to do it when she partnered with L’Oréal Paris to help amplify the message that “We’re Worth It.” Today, this bombshell powerhouse believes in her own self-worth... and she’s on a mission to help you believe in yours too.
