Flo Women’s Club 女人同學會

Flo 女人同學會第一次請來嘉賓， 我們找上了五年前決定退隱都市生活，歸園田居的Mink Chan。阿Mink係前社工， 多年來一直只為別人而活， 40多歲毅然放下一切，搬回老家大嶼山水口村陪伴母親， 開始攝影、種植， 當上園藝治療師， 農夫及蜂農，跟伴侶過着上山下海的生活。歸園田居，只為自己而活, 做一直想做的事、或者從來沒有想過的事。

「70後的女性 香港的原居民 第十代生於大嶼山的水口村 小時候看過農耕的水口, 荷花香、一片黃金稻田 昆蟲動物是玩具 上山下海像野孩子般。 我喜歡用文字去表達, 所以做過编輯、記者的工作, 後來做義工發覺自己好適合做社工 所以去進修讀社工、做社工 做夠了, 攰了, 去尋找感情記託, 却悟出愛人不如愛己 愛自己的父母手足 陪父渡過留醫的最後幾個月人生 決定搬回老家陪孤母 再投入水口的懷抱 回味加重新體會水口的生活 開始攝影、種植、學習園藝治療 當上園藝治療師和農夫 幸運遇上好伴侶, 一起種菜、養蜂又下海 人生的下半場 又在水口過着上山下海的生活 我滿足,因為追求的不是物質生活。 人生係應該有自由、有選擇的, 所以從不勉強自己和別人。 我感到幸福, 因為會感恩。 珍惜眼前, 所有人和物都係寶貴的。」

在香港筆耕多年後， 新婚的Carmen於2003年決定嫁雞隨雞, 跟隨美籍丈夫返美。 面對新的地方， 最難的事，是要重新認識自己。 終於，成就解鎖，由在香港執筆以寫中文為生，轉型到喺美國寫英文，看似容易，極不容易。多年來過着半遊牧生活，住遍美國東南西北5個不同州份，現居波士頓鄰近小鎮，日間在當地一家大學從事市場推廣工作，晚上忙於周旋在家中一大兩小之間，難得找來時間讀書寫字，調節心理。首篇英文短篇小說FOURTEEN，刊於小說集HONG KONG NOIR (Akashic 2018) 一書中。
