Rusty Firmin is a former British Special Forces operative best known as the Blue Team leader during the 1980 Iranian Embassy Siege in London. A highly experienced member of the SAS B Squadron, he played a pivotal role in the iconic counter-terrorism operation. Firmin also served with HQ Squadron 23 SAS as a permanent staff instructor and had earlier military service with 29 Commando Regiment Royal Artillery.
