Jeff and Michelle grew up in sunny Southern California and moved their family to the mountains of beautiful Bozeman, Montana in 2019. Jeff worked in the food service distribution industry for over 10 years. Michelle worked as a Vet Tech part time and stayed home with our 2 amazing boys, Grayson (9) and Hudson (8).

They desired a change for their lives but didn’t know what that looked like for their family until Michelle had the crazy & wonderful idea of leaving the busy life in suburban California for the slower pace of ranch life in Montana. Michelle rode horseback in the Big Sky mountains as a child and loved every minute of it. Jeff had a love for great food from an early age and dreamed of being a chef. 

They combined Jeff’s food industry knowledge and entrepreneurial drive with Michelle’s animal science background, and Belcrest Farms was born. 

There has been as steep learning curve getting into the Agriculture industry but they feel very thankful to be a part of the community. 

They finish black Angus steers on their cattle property, 15 minutes outside of Bozeman, and sell the beef direct to consumers in their valley and all over the US. Their goal as first generation ranchers is to give you peace of mind at the dinner table with their All Natural Ranch Raised Montana Beef.
