お隣さんは、旦那さんは行商に出かけ夜遅く帰ってきて、子供は奉公に出ていました。

隣のおかみさんは内職をしていましたが、二郎が遊びに来ると、いつも笑顔で迎えてくれました。

Jiro loved to go to the neighbor's house to play.

The neighbor's husband went out peddling and came home late at night, and the children were in apprenticeship.

The neighbor's wife worked as a domestic worker, but she always greeted Jiro with a smile when he came to visit.

男は海産問屋の若旦那で、女は水の米という常磐津の師匠であった。

男の死体は翌日に発見されたが、女の死体は上がらなかった。

女は死なずに、逃げたからであった。

It was around the year 1893.

Two people, a man and a woman, threw themselves into the sea from Tatemachizaki in Hakodate.

The man was a young husband of a marine products wholesaler and the woman was a teacher of the Tokiwazu music called Mizu no Yone.

The man's body was found the next day, but the woman's body did not turn up.

The woman had escaped without dying.

今、走ってる道を走るのは、初めてのはずだった。

しかし、夫は、なぜか、この道を知っていた。その先にあるものも。

妻は慄然とした。

The husband was driving a left-hand drive Chevrolet, and the wife was sitting in the passenger seat.

The husband, who always plays golf on his days off, had invited his wife for a drive.

It was supposed to be the first time for them to drive on the road they were driving on now.

But somehow, the husband knew this road. And what lay ahead.

The wife was horrified.

少年は父親と共に旅人を馬で追い、なんとかならぬかと頼み込んだ。

すると旅人は「生命は神の決めるところで私にはなんともならぬ」と言うが、父親は額を地面に擦り付けて頼んだ。

旅人は「酒と干し肉を用意して、卯の日まで待っていなさい」と言う。

A young boy named Zhao Yan was churning wheat when he was told by a passing traveler that he would not live long.

The boy and his father chased the traveler on horseback and begged him to do something about it.

The traveler said, "Life is God's decision and I can't do anything about it," but his father rubbed his forehead on the ground and begged him.

The traveler told him to prepare some wine and dried meat and wait until the day of the Rabbit.

甚六はフジを虐め、無実の罪で責めた挙げ句、雪山の木立に縛り付け死なせてしまった。

その後、甚六夫婦のもとには、奇怪な現象が起きるようになる。

In Oshu, there was a man named Jinroku who was ruthless and incomparable.

When Jinroku's sister died, he took in her daughter Fuji.

Jinroku tortured Fuji, accused her of a crime she did not commit, and then tied her up in a grove of trees in the snowy mountains to die.

After that, strange phenomena began to happen to Jinroku and his wife.

そんな長八郎がなぜ？と越前が吟味すると、長八郎は事情を話しました。

In his youth, Chohachiro was a gambler, but in his old age, he worked diligently.

Why did he do it? When Echizen scrutinized him, Chohachiro told him what had happened.

"He told him that he was an oil seller who had fallen asleep while sitting on the stone, and when he woke up, he found that his money had been stolen.

When he woke up, he found that his money had been stolen.
