For a business to be successful, it is important for a leader to properly succession plan. This involves looking 5, 10 or 20 years into the future and knowing what you want the business to look like. Who has the energy and drive to lead the business once the current boss retires? Who will need to be trained or mentored to take over that role one day? These are all questions that need to be considered for future growth and success.
