If you’re new to coaching or thinking about hiring a coach, know that you are the expert on your own life. A skilled coach knows it's not their role to tell others how to live their life or do their business. A coach is meant to hold space and ask empowering questions to tap into your innate wisdom.

“Your job as a coach is to be masterful at your craft so you can get into your client’s energy field and coach them on business, relationships, or whatever it is that you coach. You don't have to be an expert at every single thing your client goes through. In fact, your job as a coach is to be the expert at coaching their energy around it.”

It’s not necessarily right or wrong to share advice when your coaching clients give you permission to do so. But think about it this way: How much more empowering would it feel for your client to arrive at their own unique, aligned solutions that feel good to them through your coaching? When you coach your client to find their own solutions, it actually amplifies the client’s autonomy and ownership of their decisions. With this ownership, there is greater accountability and follow through by the client about what they desire to shift and change. 🎯
