Disabled isn't a bad word, okay?! Fat disabled people are still treated as second class citizens and we need to talk about it. Accessibility in the UK is still shockingly bad and disabled people are constantly facing extra judgement from ableist people. 

And yes, there have been massive improvements to plus size representation, but sticking in a white able-bodied plus size women and a pretty disabled woman in the corner of a campaign lineup isn't good enough. 

So today, we're chatting to disabled fashion blogger, FromSarahLex about the reality of being a wheelchair user, how doctors have treated her because of her weight, and how she's learnt to be a confident bad bitch 💅. From the Biggest Loser to Supersize vs Superskinny, these shows harmed our relationships with our bodies and made us think that we had to crash diet. They're the epitome of diet culture and the toxic 'eat less move more' attitude. And the reality is, they usually didn't even work, and sometimes harmed people's bodies. Fashion might seem a bit frivolous, especially because we always say the way you look is the least interesting thing about you.
