My friend wrote me an email the other day titled, “Has The World Gone Mad?” She feels overwhelmed by world events and is finding difficulty with avoiding negativity and despair. Even during challenging times, despair and negativity are often connected to our need for certainty. It is our fear of the unknown that steals our hope and our inspired action to pursue the changes that we want to see. Nobody knows what will happen next, but uncertainty gives us hope that things in the world can still get better!
