Hillary Cooper is taking the speech therapy world by storm! She is conducting one of the few mobile FEES-specific private practices in the country, spearheading a non-profit organization designed to support patients with dysphagia and their families, and supporting other non-profits by selling speech-therapy based merchandise. Along the way she has provided therapy to adults in skilled nursing facilities and acute care in addition to private practice. Hillary also has a strong interest in educating others which also led to her participation in the Medical SLP Collective.
Here's What We Discuss:
-Her uplifting perspective on the obstacles that arose along the way
-Her eye-opening advice surrounding yourself with support, both personally and professionally
-Her motto “Delete, delegate, or do” and how it has framed her work-life balance
-How her belief in herself and her ideas had to evolve over time to make her dreams come alive
-Jena’s encouragement for kindred spirits who embrace their passions wholeheartedly
-Her call for volunteers to help her non-profit fulfill its mission
