Heal Your Relationships

How To Argue Better

Listen Later

Arguments and misunderstandings in relationships are inevitable. Their occurrence doesn't mean that the relationship is wrong or doomed or tainted or that you made a mistake by choosing this person, be it a romantic partner, friend, or colleague.

They are inevitable. Even if the relationship was blessed by the heavens and meant to be. So let's get this out of the way.

You need to stop being surprised every time you disagree with someone.

Whether you argue a lot (but badly, which hurts the relationship) or have given up and just stopped talking (which causes disconnection, distance and makes the relationship feel shallow), you must learn how to argue better.

Learning how to argue is vital to sustaining a long-term relationship that feels alive and meaningful.

So how do we deal with this? How do we maintain long-term relationships that are healthy and trusting for both people involved?

At the end of the day, conflicts and disagreements are tools. Today I will teach you how to use them for the betterment of a relationship.

What I mention in this episode:

  • The origin of most repetitive arguments
  • Why you need to learn how to argue better
  • Why arguing could be actually good for your relationships

What you'll learn from it:

  • Why arguments and misunderstandings are inevitable
  • Information you need to know when entering an argument
  • How to ask and not assume what the other person is feeling
  • How to take ownership of your feelings without being scared by them

I hope this was helpful. Remember to choose to move toward conflict to understand your loved ones. Don’t run away and be satisfied in living with the stories you build in your head.

With love, Kavetha

PS- Are you constantly arguing with your significant other? Or even worse, have you stopped communicating with them altogether?

Don't worry. I have created a program to help you argue better in order to create a more profound connection.

Heal Your Relationships is a program specifically designed for women. It includes evidence-based tools, training, and a community to learn, among other things, how to name your feelings and not judge them.

In this 8-week program, you will get the HYR™ Framework and Tools and weekly calls with certified coaches privately and in a group environment with other women.
