I want you to do a quick self-reflection and think back to how you felt the last time you ended your work day. Were you stressed? Did you feel tense from the day? Was your mind racing with the thoughts of incomplete projects and tasks? Did that tension carry with you until you returned to work the next day? All of these are signs that you might need to work on letting go of some items on your task list. This week’s episode of the Scaleocity Works podcast is about how to let go at work and what you risk if you don’t!
Leaders are faced with more stressors than ever before and these stressors if not handled correctly can have major implications on not only yourself but the company at large if you do not learn to take a step back and let some things go.
Today, Brian shares 3 steps to assess your routine and delegate tasks to your team members (& trust them to do so) and 4 of the many things that are at risk if you don’t.
Speaking from experience, it takes a long time to be able to step back and allow your team to do what they were hired to do but I can tell you by doing so, I have allowed myself to work on the business and not in the business.
