If you are into linear, focused, goal-oriented, moving-in-a-specific-trajectory podcast episodes, this is not for you. If you are into thought-provoking-squiggly-non-linear-points-connecting-through-time podcast episodes, this might be an episode for you. This episode is about the "enemy", the "villain", the victim-perpetrator-righteous observer drama triangle and moving outside of moral condemnation and into compassion for all suffering. It is about trauma, how humans who don't process their trauma will blow that trauma through other people, historical trauma (specifically around race), and a whole lot more. It's about this big, cosmic theatre that we are a part of where we get to play out many, many roles, and how deeply entangled we are with the mess that (sometimes) we would desperately like to separate ourselves from.

As a personal note, I really considered not releasing this episode - but upon hearing it with fresh ears, I think it might have some value to offer you (you be the judge). Speaking about these topics brings up all my fears and shame around being 'bad', canceled, labeled a victim-blamer, not-woke-enough, not-left-enough, too woo, spiritual bypassy, etc etc. But, this is my truth - and whether it resonates with you or not, I hope that it will bring clarity to yours.
