Extremely bad eating disorder behaviors like anorexia, bulimia, purging, all that kind of stuff have plagued many who are desperate of losing weight. Some are going through different stages in their life aggravated by different stressors with which they try to grapple with. Indeed, circumstances in life like relationships, divorce, death, insecurity, or whatever emotional pain and rollercoaster ride you have in life that you are not able to deal with properly manifest in weight gain. Whatever it is that you lack emotionally you try to compensate with food. Whatever is wanting in your life you easily fill with pleasure that is food. You say you can't blame yourself, that's the only way you know how to numb the pain. You say, 'How can I help it, food is in my mind in all my waking hours, there's no way I would be able to get past it.' There are those who, you can't believe it, get stuck for 50 years but has turned around and realized only recently that there is hope for them. A lot of them have messaged and acknowledged the rut they are in and they want a solution. How did they come around and realized they need help? Sometimes in life, you don't need to deal with problems all by yourself lest you find your self thrust even more into the depths of despair and nothingness. Just when you thought your beliefs about food is your absolute truth, think again. There is always a way for something to change, first, if you change your mindset and acknowledge there are those who are meant to help you. And what is needed first is for you to take action at once.
Yes, let's admit it. You've tried so many things in the past, but all of them didn't work out. Now you're tired, you have rest your case. But let me tell you, I've been there and done that. It was successful... but just for a while. Things went back again to when I first found myself. It's a never-ending chase of the unreachable, if I may say so.
But you've got to believe me that when I found and tried hypnosis, everything changed and it was a transformative experience I could not thank enough for to this day. I've gone through the whole gamut of weight-loss-gain drama and nothing beats what hypnosis did for me. If you want something that doesn't restrict you mentally and physically but lets you reach your goal just the same then I have to say you should try hypnosis. It has already transformed the lives of many of my clients, even those years ago, and I am pretty confident it will work for you, too. You don't have to do it alone. Just take action and together we will journey through your 90-day permanent weight loss. No gimmicks, just the real stuff.
"Even if you don't know exactly know what that help is yet, because you've tried absolutely everything else and nothing's worked long term, I understand that. But the reality is you have never given up because a part of you knows that there has to be a better way. And there absolutely is. And it's found within my program." - Leslie Thornton

Sure, the diet has its own merit. It creates structure and discipline. Following rules for not eating certain foods give you that increased energy to be more productive. But you should be aware that when you fall off your routine of constantly keeping up with giving up a certain food, that's when an emotional crisis begins to show up. An endless love-hate relationship sometimes ensues. And this is not becoming healthy for you. It won't do you any good. This is one side of dieting that makes you feel not human. Dieting kind of restricts you the freedom to just eat anything you want to and it sometimes robs you of the pleasure of eating. Primarily, what makes anyone fall off the track when you diet, it's because your actions to do it is dictated by fear. What is this fear? Fear of other human beings. Fear of what other people might say to you, fear you will never be accepted for what you are, fear of losing somebody you care deeply if you don't shape up. If fear is the motivation to do something in order to reach a certain goal it will never ever get you anywhere long-term. It's because you will lose yourself in the process. Your consciousness is never fully on why and what you are doing. You do things just because someone imposed it on you, that it should be how it's done. When in fact you can have whatever you want and whatever way you want it for as long as you want it with no shame and guilt to feel ever. Your actions are driven by these two opposite end of human emotions that determine your reaction towards whatever you set your goal on as a success or failure, that is fear or panic and joy or happiness. Fear almost always never do the job. Joy and happiness let you do things lightly and with a disposition that crushes any negativity down and brings you to the consciousness of being free of other's judgment. Hypnosis has this way of freeing you from being stuck in food prison to an entirely new way of looking at one's circumstances without guilt and shame.
"Any action taken from fear is a nonproductive and inefficient action long term." - Leslie Thorton

Freedom is what makes human beings feel alive. When this is restricted human nature would want to rebel at it. This is where portion control when it comes to dieting takes its notion. It's never an easy path much more when you don't clearly and deeply know why you are doing so in the first place. When you decide to begin a journey of transformation you need to come from a place of awareness and true goals. If and when your point in deciding to lose weight is grounded on the fact that people expect you to have a certain idea of how you look like, then that would likely take you off track somewhere in your goal. Most likely, what happens is you would beat yourself up until you no longer make sense of everything that you are doing. There can be a success in a controlled space but it would be difficult to sustain it unless it is met with good judgment and purposeful intention. Being intentional at what you do makes the whole thing reachable because you rest in the thought of making a higher goal happen and you envision what that is in your mind and you have a happy thought looking at the possibility. Besides, when you make a decision such as stopping overeating and religiously sticking to portion control you need to have the goal in mind and someone to support you all the way through. This is where hypnosis helps. It has a way of making you feel not guilty about what you do or not do to your body. It is about making you have an empowered choice where you feel happy about your decision whether you do portion control or not. What makes it even better about hypnosis is its ability to be expansive, breaking you free from limiting beliefs you have for yourself and from other people. What's more, it helps you have a deeper understanding of the undertaking you are in so that goals are more realistically achieved. "This journey is more about living a more self-actualized life, and giving yourself full permission to have, what it is that you want and how you want to have it, things that are going to make your life happy and sustainable, and works for you." - Leslie Thornton

Why do self-awareness and clarity about what you want matter? Our decisions and choices in life are influenced by what society dictates. And this leads us to question ourselves if we are doing the right thing prompting us to beat ourselves, That is, being hard on ourselves by doing the rigid and strict steps just so we achieve it. We would never even question if we want what we do or is it really what we want to happen. And what comes next is that we put undue pressure on ourselves thereby circling back to what we used to be and never ever staying on track. The same thing with eating. Can we really stop eating too much and achieve weight loss? If you believe you can, then you can do it. Our brain is more powerful than what our physiological parts can do. Besides, things can only happen when we are coming from an empowered place. Making choices out of guilt and shame will only magnify the problem. Because it is never getting deep into the root cause but rather giving in to undue pressure from outside forces. If only we learn to accept ourselves and really see what makes us happy then we are good. It is never about making everyone happy, it is about making yourself happy. If we take a closer look, big transformation happens when we become intentional and purposeful in what we do. Instead of saying, 'I have to lose weight because I have Diabetes', why not shift your mind and say, 'I want to lose weight because I still want to be around when my grandkids come, still want to travel the world in my retirement years.'. That would sound so reassuring and gives a hint of positivity and happiness.
Another way to look at it is by finding like-minded people who can help you achieve your goal. Because when you have that belief system, you want to be with the same people who think the way you do and carry you through your goals. And it is a big help when you invest in something that supports your belief system where you pay for coaching sessions. That way the commitment level is at best than when you have something for free. When it cost you something, you tend to value it more. And that is when something big happens in your life.
"Know that you actually can stop eating if you want to. And just by removing that inner critic, and getting yourself present to what it is that you actually want and knowing that you can, and being willing to get out of your comfort zone and take those steps, you can do that." - Leslie Thornton

The fact is that when you drink too much alcohol you will lose your inhibition. This then contributes to a diet mentality wherein you are not able to stick to whatever food plan you have in place. When we associate permanent weight loss to alcohol we have to take into account the subconscious reasons why we can't say no to what is being offered to us. One thing to note is that our attachment to things is too strong. We make decisions based on emotions so that the moment something is offered to us, we immediately say yes to it. We only deal with the result of our actions when we experience the aftermath of, in this case, drinking alcohol the next day. Another thing is the fact that we take negative connotations towards certain foods that, to our mind, always make us fat if we eat them. If only we take out all this morality we attach to food or alcohol, that it is good or bad, right or wrong, then we will allow ourselves to have that unconditional permission to have what we truly want without feeling guilty over it. Because it is in this light that we allow mindfulness to take over our actions. And when this happens, we can break stuff down, we slow down and we make an empowered choice on things that will only bring us good. And that's when we truly understand things, not from a place of fear rather from a place of inner peace and freedom. And this is where hypnosis plays a part in fully making things happen. "The idea is not to have you never do that thing ever again. The idea is to get rid of that attachment."

Whether we admit it or not we go through the emotion of anger. You feel the resentment, desperation, and self-hatred; and to numb it, you eat all you want. As kids, we were taught not to be angry and we tend to cope by numbing with food. But, we should know that not addressing anger the healthy way pushes us to be emotionally overeating and bingeing on food. An outburst of anger in public is mostly looked down upon and there are repercussions for showing it. For most of us, the response is getting quiet and retreating to the most sought after refuge and that is food. For others, running or some sort of working out is the escape. That releases the emotion but that doesn't give you the peace and takes you away from being present. And what happens is, anger runs you at that moment without never really getting deep into it. It is just buried therein the subconscious state and some other days it will haunt you and again reveals itself through overeating. You have the choice of having to live with it for the rest of your life or you face it now, unearth it, do something about it once and for all and move faster in life. There is a way out for permanent weight loss and what you need is emotional mastery and hypnosis exactly does that. It is letting you run your emotion instead of the other way around. "What we want to change is the reality that right now your emotions run you. And we want to get you to a place where you run your emotions so you can finally be free from that prison of feeling totally and completely out of control of yourself at times."

Body image is one big concern that is all over the place these days. It doesn't help that social media is feeding us all this standard of a healthy and sexy body. And for us who can't keep up with what society dictates, we harbor displeasure over our body further pushing us down into the pit of unhappiness and anxiety. All we think of is ourselves and what we think other people think about us. We fear the thought of what might be even if it is just imagined and not holding a bit of reality. Fear thoughts surround us and scarcity mentality overpowers us. Yes, when you have body hatred, your mind is clouded with all these negativity and prevents you from celebrating who you truly are. For as long as you implement great healthy habits everyday and feed your body with what is nutritionally essential, that is one good reason to be elated about. Who is to say that it is not the perfect body size for you? You don't have to go on a strict diet that when you fail at it, unhappiness consumes you. Thus, making people around you unhappy, too. Why be so hard at yourself when you have the choice to channel your energy on the more important things in life? Look at it this way, maybe you have the body that you are having now because it is specially meant to carry the purpose for which you are meant to do. And we have to remember that when we die and someone looks at us inside the casket, they won't say, ' oh wow she always has that sexy body'. Instead, they would remember us for how fantastic we made them feel and how much difference we make in other people's lives. It's all about changing perspective. A mindset shift always does the trick. "Body image is one of the hardest and slowest mindsets to recreate but with constant effort and due diligence, I would say that it's 100% possible."

The subconscious mind holds deep-seated emotional issues that when not addressed manifests itself in various forms. The brain has its ability to send messages that in essence keeps you safe but in reality, blocks you from facing the reality head-on. This keeps reinforcing in you that scarcity mindset, and when you do have it, all you can do is react to it as expected. An impulsive action happens all the time. And most times in my dealings with clients, most of this anxiety and emotional eating goes back to those times in the past where one is deprived of food where your own parents stop you from eating, it may also be that food provides you a distraction away from any emotional battle you are experiencing at one time or another without you knowing it. It is actually our fears that we let to run our lives that prevent us from truly acknowledging what the issue is all about. When those aren't brought to light then it triggers anxiety leading to emotional eating. That is why when we let subconscious modalities that I know of work in our body, then, we will see that opportunity mindset sets in. We always think that there will be enough for us and we don't resort to actions that will only fill that void even more. There is mindful eating that happens, a deep understanding of those fears that we have, and getting back control of what is happening around. When that occurs self-awareness begins to make sense. And it is in making sense of all these that we begin to have peace and move us so much faster from the problem that we get ourselves in. "The biggest cause of anxiety that I see in clients is scarcity. One of the things that get locked in there from the primitive brain is this needing to survive and actually thinking that there is not enough. And when we feel this lack, most of us don't even realize what's actually happening that causes us to take that impulsive action, which can lead to emotional anxious eating, which is how we can feel so out of control."

Atkins, South Beach...Name it I had all diets I could try on, but these never lasted. For the life of me, everything was a futile attempt. My relationship with food seems to be never-ending. Hard as I might get rid of all that is stopping me from losing weight, my will and determination gave in to the solace food provided me. The idea of it, bingeing on it, all occupied my mind the whole day. I would bring it wherever I would go for fear I won't last the whole day not having it. This whole idea of losing weight all the more was put on the side when I went to study abroad. How can you not delight in the culture that celebrates my body measurement? If there ever was one issue in life I never got a real hold on, it would be my weight. I made myself believe I was in it forever. But forever doesn't make sense, at least with food and weight gain. If you are in the same shoes as I was before, I feel you. I know it is never easy going out of the trap. But believe me, when I say, it is possible. Hypnosis did it for me. "The reason why I'm qualified to talk about hypnosis and permanent weight loss and why I am successful at coaching people through this journey is that I have been thinking about dieting, exercising and weight loss since I was eight years old and hopes of reversing my circumstance was a far off dream I could only wish for until hypnosis came." - Leslie Thornton
