Jake Dearden (@jakedearden_) returns to the Rox Lyfe podcast after a huge year of progress. Since we last spoke, Jake has:

– Run a 2:28 marathon in Berlin

– Qualified for the HYROX Elite 15

– Set a Pro Doubles world record with James Kelly

– Been named England team captain for the relay at the 2025 HYROX World Championships

In this episode, we dig into the training that got him there — including the work that led to that marathon time and his Elite 15 breakthrough. We also chat through his current strength numbers, running times (how quick he is over 5km, 10km, etc), the pressures of working with major sponsors like Red Bull, and the mental load of staying at the top.
