  • 73. Mail Bag: Self Esteem

In todays episode we go back to the mail bag and I get to dive into a topic I feel SO passionate about: how to *decide* and work to believe that you are worthy of love and belonging. This is a theme that comes up with almost all of my clients. And it is a theme that has come up in my life time and time again. I know what hating yourself feels like, because I did it for years. BUT, I also now know how to pull myself out of it. So join me as I share the steps I take, along with some thoughts I think, to overcome the internal bully and release your inner hype girl. I hope this resonates with you so much, and that you're able to start treating yourself the way those who love you immensely do. You deserve that. Can't wait to hear what you think! • 72. We Can Do Hard Things

A few episodes back I talked about how sometimes we make things harder than they are. We tell ourselves something is hard, and that keeps us from taking action. We call ourselves stuck, when really we're just afraid to move through or past the hard. That is not what I am talking about today. In today's episode I explore the idea that sometimes, it is *supposed to be* hard. Losing weight and prioritizing health: sometimes hard Building a business and chasing your goals: sometimes hard Repairing a relationship and allowing yourself to be vulnerable: sometimes hard Working through your trauma and healing yourself: sometimes hard But, the way our brains are set up for survival means that when things feel hard, our brain thinks we need to hit the eject button immediately. We don't. Sometimes, we need to let them be hard and do. it. anyway. Join me today as I share with you the process you take your brain through as you let the things the matter to you, to sometimes be uncomfortable. • 70. Apologizing + Repair

Sometimes I coach you to have your back when someone is upset with you over something you've done. And sometimes, like today, I coach you on how to apologize and truly mean it when you've treated someone you care about in a way you're not proud of. But we dive deeper than just the apology, we go into the act of repairing any damage caused. In todays episode I share several examples recently where I had to repair relationships with people I love because of how I acted. Yes, its important to look at if we need to have our own back and hold space for others to be upset with us when we don't feel we've done anything wrong. BUT, it is equally as important to know how to deeply apologize and repair, so that the people we love, value and care about feel seen, heard and loved by us. I can't wait to hear how this helps you turn the page with some relationships in your life, so that they and you, can move forward. • 69. Stop Self Rejection & Judgment

In todays episode, I dive into the little micro ways we reject ourselves, and how you can start identifying + correcting it, so you can find more peace. People are gonna label you. They're going to project things onto you. You are going to label you and project onto yourself… But, this chips away at our confidence. It calls insecurity into our lives. It teaches people how to treat us. Join me to hear how you can catch yourself doing this, and how to stop it. • 68. Take Nothing Personally

"By using our attention we learned a whole reality, a whole dream. We learned how to behave in society: what to believe and what not to believe; what is acceptable and what is not acceptable; what is good and what is bad; what is beautiful and what is ugly; what is right and what is wrong. It was all there already — all that knowledge, all those rules and concepts about how to behave in the world."

Ruiz, Don Miguel. The Four Agreements: A Practical Guide to Personal Freedom (A Toltec Wisdom Book Book 1)

Nothing in this world has anything to do with us. Nothing we do has anything to do with anyone else. It all has to do with the way we were raised, and what we were taught to believe.

I started reading The Four Agreements, and one of the agreements really stood out to me, Don't Take Anything Personally.

As I heard this and then went out into the world looking for evidence that it is true, I have been blown away by how often this truth reveals itself.

In todays episode I dive into how this shows up for me, and for some of my clients. In hopes that you can find places in your life where you're taking things personally that have nothing to do with you… or, where you might be hurting someone who is taking your actions personally, even though it has nothing to do with them.

Tune in and then let me know where you are able to find this truth in your own life.

  • 67. Becoming Your Future Self

You know by now that our thoughts create our feelings, which cause us to take action, and those actions produce our results.

So the life you're living right now is a result of the thoughts you were thinking 3 months ago. If you want to create a different life, you have to think like your future self now. Like you've already achieved that thing you want.

Because when you think like her, you feel like her, then you act like her.

You don't need to wait until:

    Life slows down

    The kids get older

    You have more followers

    You've lost the weight

    The timing is perfect

Because it doesn't have to do with any of those things. Think the thoughts that your future self will think NOW, and that is how you become her.

Join me as I share exactly what this looks like, so you too can create the life your future self will thank you for!

  • 64: Overcoming Doubt to Pursue Your Dreams

Its a fact of life that some people are not going to like what you have to say or what you do. We're all driven by different things, we were taught how to behave by different parents with different value systems.

It is also a fact of life that your brain is wired to look for the threats and pay more attention to the boos. But, just because there will always be people who don't like that way you're doing it, doesn't men you shouldn't.

In todays episode I talk about how to let the doubters and haters be there, but train your brain to focus on those cheering for you to win. Nothing has gone wrong when your brain focuses on the negative, that is what our brains were designed to do. Its kept us alive for all these years. But, most of these "threats" aren't actually a matter of life and death. So, can we re-direct our brains to focus on the fans you've got?

You can stay in your cozy cave where nothing can hurt you, but you miss out on the big beautiful world awaiting you when you step outside your cave and risk being disliked, made fun of, or boo'd. Its up to you to decide what is worth it to you.

    Love you, mean it!
