We have an exciting interview this week featuring Dr. Candace Brown, who is not only a long time triathlete, but also is an expert in the field of women's sports and physiology! Dr. Brown is a professor of gerontology at UNC Charlotte, and has conducted extensive research on women's motivations to participate in triathlon as they age.

In this episode, she tells us all about her own racing and training experiences, as well as her trip to Kona this year to spectate the all women's race. We also got to hear about how she conducts her research, and how she uses her scientific research as a way to be an advocate for female athletes in general, and especially for women of color.
