  • Root-Cause Wellness: Applied Kinesiology, Nutrition & Healing with Dr. David Caffe

    Send us Fan Mail

What if the symptom you’re treating isn’t actually the root of the problem?

In Episode 669 of It’s Bizzy, Elizabeth “Bizzy” Chance sits down with her own practitioner, Dr. David Caffe, chiropractor, kinesiologist, and founder of Roots Chiropractic and Kinesiology in Delray Beach, Florida, for a fascinating conversation about looking beyond symptoms and understanding what may be affecting the body as a whole.

Dr. Caffe explains his approach to applied kinesiology, chiropractic care, nutrition, muscle testing, environmental exposures, inflammation, stress, supplements, and overall wellness. He shares why he believes structural, chemical, nutritional, and emotional factors can all play a role in how we feel—and why finding the root cause is such an important part of his practice.

Bizzy and Dr. Caffe also talk about:

    ·       The difference between traditional chiropractic care and applied kinesiology

    ·       What muscle testing is and how Dr. Caffe uses it in his practice

    ·       Nutrition, food sensitivities, inflammation, and gut health

    ·       Supplements and why what works for one person may not work for another

    ·       Stress and its impact on the body

    ·       Environmental exposures, technology, and everyday wellness habits

    ·       Sugar, coffee, hydration, exercise, sweating, saunas, and cold plunges

    ·       When holistic or integrative care may be appropriate—and when conventional medical care is necessary

    ·       Simple changes people can make when they want to start feeling better

This is an open, thought-provoking conversation about holistic health, alternative wellness, functional approaches to healing, and taking a more individualized look at your health.

  • Start Over Today: Let Go of the Past, Find Peace & Begin Again

    Send us Fan Mail

In Episode 668 of It’s Bizzy, Elizabeth “Bizzy” Chance talks about the end-of-summer reset, dealing with difficult people, letting go of resentment, and remembering that you do not need January 1, a birthday, or a major life event to begin again.

Bizzy shares why we spend too much time replaying the past, worrying about the future, judging what other people are doing, and trying to control things that simply are not ours to control. From an unexpected beach ticket and “Karen” behavior to a powerful message she heard at Mass about forgiveness, this episode is a reminder that peace begins when we stop carrying yesterday into today.

You are more than your mistakes, your relationships, your roles, or your past. You can choose a new direction at any moment.

Bizzy also shares a simple spiritual practice for getting out of your head, calming the mental spin, and inviting God back into the present moment.

    In this episode:

    ·       Why you can restart your life at any age or stage

    ·       Letting go of regret, resentment, and remorse

    ·       Why forgiving yourself matters

    ·       Accepting that you cannot control other people

    ·       Finding peace in a chaotic world

    ·       Trusting God with what you cannot change

    ·       Setting boundaries and staying true to yourself

    ·       A simple “Come, Holy Spirit” practice for anxious or spinning thoughts

Today can be the first day of the rest of your life. You just have to be willing to begin.

  • Why Diets Keep Failing Us: Body Trust, GLP-1s & Making Peace with Food

    Send us Fan Mail

Episode 667 of It’s Bizzy features Elizabeth Chance in conversation with ICF-certified coach, motivational speaker, author, and fashion designer Regina Oswald about dieting, body image, GLP-1 medications, emotional eating, and what it really takes to make peace with food.

After beginning restrictive dieting at just 12 years old, Regina spent decades cycling through calorie counting, Weight Watchers, Atkins, keto, intermittent fasting, and other diet programs before realizing that constantly trying to control her body was taking a serious physical and emotional toll.

Elizabeth and Regina explore why traditional diets so often fail, how body image is shaped by family, culture, social media, and the beauty industry, and why learning to listen to your body may be more powerful than another restrictive eating plan.

They also take on one of the biggest conversations in wellness today: GLP-1 medications and weight loss. Regina shares her perspective on food noise, hunger cues, nutrition, muscle preservation, and why weight-loss medications should not replace properly nourishing the body.

The conversation also goes deeper into emotional eating, self-worth, aging, faith, and the pressure women feel to constantly improve or “fix” themselves. Regina explains her journey from body control to body trust and why caring for your body can come from love rather than criticism.

If you’ve ever felt exhausted by dieting, ashamed of your body, obsessed with the scale, overwhelmed by food rules, or wondered whether you can finally have a peaceful relationship with food, Episode 667 of It’s Bizzy is for you.

    In this episode:

    ·       Why diets can create a cycle of restriction and overeating

    ·       Body image and the pressure women face to look a certain way

    ·       GLP-1 medications, weight loss, and food noise

    ·       Emotional eating and understanding what you’re really hungry for

    ·       Moving from body control to body trust

    ·       Self-worth, aging, faith, and learning to appreciate your body

    ·       Sustainable nutrition and mind-body harmony

    ·       How to create a healthier relationship with food without another restrictive diet

Regina Oswald is the author of Liberation from the Diet Prison: A Journey to Mind-Body Harmony, which offers women a nine-week pathway toward a healthier, more peaceful relationship with food and themselves.

You are not alone. God is always with you.

  • Learning to Live the Life You Actually Have

    Send us Fan Mail

    Episode 665

Twenty years sober — and life looks nothing like I thought it would.

In this solo episode of It’s Bizzy, I reflect on two decades of sobriety, how my relationship with 12-step recovery has changed, and what wellness means to me today.

From getting sober in 2006 to living in a world of sober curiosity, GLP-1s, ingredient labels, fitness, sunshine, faith and self-care, so much has changed. But the biggest change has been internal.

I talk about learning who I am outside of alcohol, motherhood, marriage, expectations and other people’s opinions. I share why my relationship with God has become the foundation of my life, why real friendship matters more than having a huge circle, and how I’m learning to sit with uncomfortable seasons instead of trying to escape them.

We also talk about sugar, modern wellness culture, loneliness, gratitude, mental health, letting go of regret and accepting that life doesn’t always turn out the way we planned.

Twenty years of sobriety hasn’t given me a perfect life. It has given me the ability to live my life — one day at a time.

If you’re sober, sober curious, rebuilding your life, going through a transition, or simply trying to figure out who you are now, this conversation is for you.

You are not alone. God is always with you.

    Send us Fan Mail

In Episode 664 of It’s Bizzy, Elizabeth Chance sits down with ICF Certified Relationship Coach, author, and Is He Worthy? founder Dave McLachlan for an honest conversation about relationship red flags, emotional safety, boundaries, compatibility, and why we sometimes stay even when we already know something isn’t right.

How do you know if someone is truly right for you—or if you’re ignoring the red flags because of chemistry, loneliness, hope, or wishful thinking?

Dave shares his W.O.R.T.H.Y. Method, designed to help women evaluate relationships more objectively and recognize whether a partner truly aligns with their values and needs.

    Elizabeth and Dave talk about:

    ·       Why women ignore relationship red flags

    ·       Chemistry vs. long-term compatibility

    ·       Dating after heartbreak, trauma, divorce, or recovery

    ·       Why sobriety does not automatically mean emotional healing

    ·       The difference between selfish and selfless partners

    ·       Green flags to look for when dating

    ·       Why peace may matter more than butterflies

    ·       Dating apps, texting, intimacy, and second chances

    ·       How childhood experiences can influence adult relationships

    ·       Why being honest with yourself can save you years of heartache

If you’ve ever asked yourself, “Is he really right for me?” “Am I settling?” or “Why do I keep repeating the same relationship patterns?” this conversation is for you.

  • At 57, I Don’t Want a Diet — I Want a Better Life

    Send us Fan Mail

    Episode 663 of It’s Bizzy

At 57, wellness means something completely different to me than it did when I was younger.

I’m not interested in another diet, chasing the latest fitness trend, or trying to look 25 again. I want to feel strong. I want peace. I want purpose. I want meaningful relationships, a closer relationship with God, and a life that actually feels good to live.

In this episode, I’m talking about how my definition of health has changed — from Jenny Craig and Atkins to movement, balance, sleep, prayer, community, less time on our phones, and the fascinating idea behind Blue Zones.

Miami Beach’s interest in becoming a Blue Zones community got me thinking about something bigger:

Do we really need to live in a Blue Zone to create one for ourselves?

What if wellness after 50 isn’t about doing more?

What if it’s about figuring out what makes us feel healthy, peaceful, connected, purposeful and alive?

Because at this stage of my life, I don’t just want to live longer.

    I want to live better.

You are not alone. God is always with you.

  • Episode 662: Successful but Still Lonely? Premier Palm Beach Matchmaker Rose Lambert on Finding Real Love

    Send us Fan Mail

Can you build a thriving career, own a beautiful home, create financial success—and still feel deeply lonely?

In Episode 662 of It’s Bizzy, Elizabeth “Bizzy” Chance sits down with elite Palm Beach matchmaker, certified relationship coach, entrepreneur, and spiritual love coach Rose Lambert for an honest conversation about loneliness, self-worth, relationship trauma, dating, and what it truly takes to create meaningful love.

Rose immigrated to the United States from Turkey at 19 and built several successful businesses, including gas stations, laundromats, and a costume production company serving major entertainment clients. Yet through her own personal journey, she discovered that professional success does not always lead to emotional fulfillment.

After experiencing abandonment, difficult marriages, people-pleasing, and years of searching for love outside herself, Rose learned one of the most important lessons of her life:

You cannot build a healthy relationship until you begin healing your relationship with yourself.

In this episode, Rose and Bizzy discuss:

    • Why successful, high-achieving women often struggle to find love
    • How childhood abandonment and relationship trauma affect adult choices
    • Why loneliness has become an emotional wellness crisis
    • The difference between looking successful and feeling fulfilled
    • How people-pleasing can attract unhealthy relationships
    • Why self-love changes the kind of partner you choose
    • Dating red flags and green flags
    • Why gratitude and appreciation matter in long-term relationships
    • How social media can create a false sense of connection
    • Why money, status, and material success cannot replace intimacy
    • How to stop chasing what looks good and begin choosing what feels healthy
    • Why being alone can sometimes become a season of healing and growth

Rose also shares her perspective on compatibility, chemistry, forgiveness, arranged marriages, dating apps, and why many people are looking for what society tells them to want rather than what they genuinely need.

This conversation fits perfectly with Health and Wellness Month because wellness is not only about food, exercise, supplements, or sleep. Emotional health, healthy relationships, human connection, self-respect, and freedom from loneliness are essential parts of a fulfilling life.

Whether you are single, dating, married, rebuilding after heartbreak, or simply questioning what love means in this chapter of your life, this episode offers encouragement and a powerful reminder:

You are not too successful, too old, too complicated, or too wounded to experience meaningful love.

But the journey may need to begin within.

  • Episode 661 Who Am I Without the Labels? Finding My Voice After Nearly 20 Years Sober with Bizzy

    Send us Fan Mail

What happens when you stop numbing your feelings and finally begin listening to your body, your faith, and your own voice?

In Episode 661 of It’s Bizzy, Elizabeth “Bizzy” Chance reflects on approaching 20 years of sobriety—and the gradual transformation that took her from simply trying not to drink to caring deeply about her physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

Twenty years ago, health and wellness were not on Bizzy’s mind. She was trying to escape uncomfortable feelings, regret, fear, and sadness. Today, she is a certified recovery, life, and health and wellness coach who is intentional about what she eats, how she moves, how she sleeps, and how she cares for the body God gave her.

But this episode is about more than physical health.

Bizzy talks honestly about forgiveness, releasing resentment, letting go of the need to be liked, and recognizing that we were never created to be identical. We have different gifts, beliefs, strengths, stories, and opinions—and those differences should not prevent us from loving one another.

She also shares why life does not need to be fair for it to be meaningful, why everyone does not need the same trophy, and why adulthood requires personal responsibility, courage, and a willingness to try—even when we may fail.

    The central message is simple:

You do not have to be the best at everything.
You do not need everyone’s approval.
You are allowed to be different.
     You are allowed to change.
You are allowed to release the past.
And you are allowed to embrace the person God created you to be.

Bizzy also introduces the idea behind her upcoming small-group course for women who are ready to release labels, find their voices, let go of anger, and build a new life chapter rooted in faith.

When anxiety or fear begins to take over, try this simple spiritual practice:

    Breathe in: Come, Holy Spirit.
Breathe out—and release what you cannot control.

You are not alone. God is always with you.

  • Episode 659: It's Never Too Late to Change Your Mind | Reinventing Yourself After 50 with Bizzy Chance

    Send us Fan Mail

Have you ever wondered if it's too late to start over?

In this solo episode, I'm sharing why I've realized that changing your mind isn't a sign of failure—it's often a sign of growth. As I reflect on nearly 20 years of sobriety, life in my late 50s, and the dreams I had as a little girl, I'm asking myself some big questions. Is it time to get my real estate license? Should I embrace new passions? Can we reinvent ourselves after 50?

I also talk about letting go of the need to control everything, trusting God with the people we love, overcoming black-and-white thinking, embracing creativity, and giving ourselves permission to try something new without worrying about being perfect.

If you've been feeling stuck, wondering what's next, or questioning whether you can still pursue a dream, this conversation is for you.

    In this episode, I discuss:

    • Why it's okay to change your mind
    • Reinvention after 50
    • Faith, surrender, and trusting God's timing
    • Letting go of perfectionism and fear
    • Creativity, purpose, and finding joy again
    • My thoughts on getting my Florida real estate license
    • Why trying something new can change your life
