Did you make a new year resolution this past week that has to do with your health and fitness? If so, you're not alone! This is the most common new year resolution for everyone every year. Chances are you set the same resolution last year too! The problem for many of us women, is that every year we start off with a "go big or go home" mentality, but that can only last for so long. Before not too long, our extreme effort burns us out and leaves us feeling tired, defeated and even heavier. That's because we were approaching 'getting in shape' like a man! Women have a much different physiology than men do, sour approach needs to be different. We will never look or feel our best until we learn how get in shape like a woman!
In today's episode, Cody shares studies that prove that women have a much greater success rate when it comes to fat loss following a "cycle phasing" exercise, nutrition and lifestyle program. We lose more weight and are more likely to stick with it than when we follow a standard "eat less, move more" type of program. Listen in to learn how cycle phasing works, what this type of program looks like and what you need to focus on during each of the four phases of our monthly cycle. This episode could change your life, and definitely change your physique.

Are you curious about whether Hertime can really help you with your PMS symptoms? We love to share real-life customer stories with you. Many of you will relate to today's episode guest, Abi Ayres,.
Do you experience symptoms like heavy flow, cramping, moodiness and painful hormonal acne? Well then you will relate to today's story. Abi opens up about how she started experiencing extreme PMS and hormonal imbalance issues starting in Junior High School. She was so miserable that her mom decided to take her to the doctor. When she went to her doctor seeking help, her doctor's solution was to put her on birth control to manage her symptoms. Birth control did offer temporary relief, but unfortunately, this band-aid approach created a ripple effect that has created even greater hormonal havoc for Abi.
If you are a girl relating to Ab's symptoms, if you have been prescribed birth control to treat your symptoms associated with PMS, or if you are a mom of teenage girl experiencing similar issues, you don't want to miss this episode! Abi's story is something we can all learn from.

Food cravings are funny things—once the desire for a certain food strikes, it can be so hard to think about anything else until you give in.
Research reveals that cravings can pop up for a lot of different reasons, many of them psychological - nostalgia, memories, emotional attachments, pleasure, and reward all play a role here. But psychology isn’t the only factor behind cravings. Hormonal changes and nutrient deficiencies play a role in some situations, too.
In this episode Cody talks about some of the most common food cravings, what they are telling us, and how we can really satisfy them. Cravings are strong, but we are stronger. With the right tools we can overcome unhealthy cravings and take care of our hormonal health.

Does it seem like you always get migraines right before your period? Did you know that about 60% of women with migraines get a type of headache called menstrual migraines? Right before our period, the amount of estrogen and progesterone, our two female hormones, in our body drops. This drastic change can trigger throbbing headaches.
Several types of headaches are linked to these changing levels of hormones. Women often get menstrual migraines anywhere from 2 days before their period to 3 days after it starts. But anything that changes estrogen and progesterone levels can cause them. The degree to which these levels shift, not the change itself, determines how severe they are.
On today's episode Jess and Cody welcome their special guest, Lindsey Walker, a Mixhers customer that shares her story of struggle with"brain zaps", frequent migraines and headaches and how she has found significant relief using Herpower and Hertime to reduce them. Jess and Cody want every woman to know that it is possible to find relief and that all-natural tools exist to give our bodies the support we need to balance our hormonal shifts.
Do you suffer too or know someone who does? Learn about why Herpower and Hertime are natural solutions for hormonal headache relief.

If you struggle from period problems, but haven’t been diagnosed with something like endometriosis or PCOS, you might think that having heavy, horrible periods is just your lot in life as a girl. You just drew the short end of the menstrual-cycle stick! Uterine fibroids may be the root of your period problems. 80% of all women will develop uterine fibroids by the age of 50. So this is a very common issue...but not a "normal" issue that can just be ignored.
Fibroids are fueled by hormone imbalances (just like PCOS and endometriosis), usually the hormonal imbalance looks like estrogen dominance and progesterone deficiency. There are many natural and non-evasive steps you can take to balance your hormones and ease fibroid symptoms.
Join Cody today as she teaches about how you can biohack your hormones and bring estrogen and progesterone back in balance. Cody explains what symptoms to look out for, and what you need to know to balance your hormones. She also shares information on what procedures and surgeries are available, if needed.
Other episodes that Cody refers to in the episode are:
Episode 6: Why Eating and Exercising The Same Way Everyday Disrupts Your Infradian Rhythm and Hurts Your Hormones
Episode 7: How To Naturally Reduce Estrogen Dominance
