There are often phases through these early childhood years that, although wonderful, can also be defined as surviving. These periods of survival are not phases of achieving all of your lofty goals... they are phases of slowing and growing. In today's episode we talk about our priorities and how we measure our successes when we are in these seasons of survival.

I had a very special guest host with me for today's episode- my husband! This is a submission episode where we collected and shared date night tips for parents of young kids. We also discussed some of our own ideals and purposes for our regular date nights!

This episode is jam packed with helpful information! It's been a minute since we've done a book review! This book came highly recommended from a friend and I'm so glad we read it for the podcast. The tips and practical application in this book were plentiful and super effective. From playful games to tactics to help your child feel more validated and heard, this book provides a number of tools to help you and your child work together for smoother cooperation. HTTSLKWL (the book in the Title) is geared towards kids ages 2-7.
