I had a very special guest host with me for today's episode- my husband! This is a submission episode where we collected and shared date night tips for parents of young kids. We also discussed some of our own ideals and purposes for our regular date nights!
This episode is jam packed with helpful information! If you are pregnant, currently have an infant, or even if you have already made the transition to solids but still have questions- this episode is for you! My baby is currently 10 months old and it was so helpful for me to be able to pick Emmy's brain a bit to move forward confidently with our food journey.

It's been a minute since we've done a book review! This book came highly recommended from a friend and I'm so glad we read it for the podcast. The tips and practical application in this book were plentiful and super effective. From playful games to tactics to help your child feel more validated and heard, this book provides a number of tools to help you and your child work together for smoother cooperation. HTTSLKWL (the book in the Title) is geared towards kids ages 2-7.

In this episode we discuss finding the confidence to trust your mothering instinct, test out different parenting tools, and appreciate the skills other mothers have without feeling like you have to replicate it. As time goes on and my kids get older I become more and more grateful for the confidence that I'm doing my best and so are they. We don't always do it perfectly but I'm certain we can figure it out together!
