If you haven't been in my world over the last month, you might not know that my father, John Yelaney, passed away unexpectedly on May 26th. My entire world was flipped upside down when this happened and I made the decision to take off work for four weeks; both client facing work as well as emails, podcasting and social content.
This episode is a very honest and possibly at points TMI episode of what life has been like for me over the last four weeks. I wanted to be as real as possible with you and not sugarcoat what's been going on in my world.
I share why and how I took the last four weeks of work off, and why I decided to still go ahead with a retreat I had planned during this time.
I also share what to expect from me in the coming weeks.
Thank you for being the type of community that not only showered me with love during the hardest moment in my life, but who I also feel so comfortable being my complete self with.
What I'll be sharing over the next few weeks isn't easy and it'll be incredibly vulnerable, but I know that's what you've learned to love about my brand and NEED right now. I'm committed to taking my hardships and lessons and paying them forward in hopes it helps someone else.
And let me just say, there are a few other surprises coming that I've been incredibly excited to share, so trust me…you'll want to stay tuned to this podcast, my email and social media over the next few weeks.
