Fran & Rose are Nicole Kidman stans. Fran was in love from the moment their atheist bisexual bad girl neighbor showed him Baz Luhrmann’s Moulin Rouge! and Rose’s love for the redheaded witch aesthetic has its origins in Practical Magic. Today’s episode is dedicated to Nicole’s wigs, noses, and iconic performances, her very few flops, and her legacy of representation for beautiful, depressed women everywhere.
Plus: bicoastal bagel discourse, Nicole's latest film The Northman, new queer teen media Heartstopper and Crush, and Selling Sunset.

This podcast loves a 4 girls trying to find love and make it in the city show, and Girls — despite gestures wildly everything — is no exception. 10 years after its premiere, the girls are rewatching Girls, and Fran & Rose have 2022 takes on everything from Adam & Hannah's role plays to Jezebel's virulent fatphobia. And of course they argue about which Girl each other is.
Plus, Fran & Rose hadn't watched the Drag Race finale at the time of recording because we had to record earlier than usual because of Fran's birthday (Happy Birthday Fran!) but they still have some opinions about it, Rose finished watching Our Flag Means Death, which got gayer, and Fran did some juicy original reporting about Omar Apollo's muse.

The last time queers had real fun watching TV was in 2019, when Gay God gave us Are You The One? Season 8, known officially as the Sexually Fluid season and colloquially as the bisexual chⒶos slut takeover of an otherwise meh reality dating competition. Comedian Honey Pluton joins Fran & Rose to talk about all the cumming, advanced math and ✨growth✨ that occurred on this one-of-a-kind season of unhinged television.
Plus, JK Rowling’s latest mega flop doodoo caca movie & predictions (!!!) for the Drag Race season finale.

Like many queer children, Fran & Rose wanted nothing more than to be Dorothy, famously played by Judy Garland in the 1939 hit musical movie, The Wizard of Oz. Like many queer adults, they've figured out that The Tin Man, The Scarecrow and The Cowardly Lion were definitely fucking & sucking while Dorothy was asleep on the Yellow Brick Road. This episode contains many more Wizard of Oz theories, plus takes on everything Wizard of Oz that came before and after the iconic film: all the L. Frank Baum books, the much darker 80s sequel Return to Oz, and the more modern musical adaptations: The Wiz and Wicked.
Plus, The Dropout finale, a response to the tenderqueer Twitter mania surrounding the Killing Eve season ending, Drag Race drags on but the viewing experience with real Charisma, Uniqueness, Nerve & Talent is Everything Everywhere All At Once.

The Like A Virgin confessional (323-PENANCE) had b2b callers waxing poetic about the early 2000s hit movie reboots of the classic '70s TV series Charlie's Angels starring Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu. Fran & Rose agree that Charlie's Angels (2000) and its sequel, Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle (2003), completely changed the world and all art created henceforth. Listen to find out why these movies were so good and why the Kristen Stewart reboot could barely keep diehard Krisbians interested.
Plus, Rose finally gets her double elimination, Fran sparks a Miley retrospective with their deep listen to Attention: Miley Live, and both deliver a tepid review of the new gay pirate HBO show Our Flag Means Death.

Plus, Krisbians lost the Oscars, a post mortem on the Gilded Age, seeing Lost City IRL and how is this season of Drag Race still going?!
