If your work-life-love-laugh-balance has changed during the past couple of years (um, hello everyone!) and looking down the barrel of 2022 raises all kinds of questions, then hook in to FORTY with the oh-so-wise and delightful Dr Amantha Imber.
Personally, Amantha unpacks how dating in her forties is so vastly different to the pressure of dating in her twenties, and why turning 44 triggered an emotional mother-daughter connection.
Professionally, Amantha studies people. As an organisational psychologist and founder of world-renowned behavioural science consultancy Inventium, she has challenged and innovated long before a global pandemic made us question the status quo around our work lives. Unlimited annual leave, full-time pay/four-day working week, and remote-first offices are a few examples of how she is an absolute game-changer. She throws multi-tasking out the window, knocks decision-fatigue on the head, and so much more. It's unsurprising Disney and Google and Harvard Business Review and Forbes and Women of Influence lists have all tapped her on the shoulder to share her smarts.
And now, Amantha shares them on FORTY.

The January morning after Carolyn Tate ended her marriage, she went straight to the beach with her best friend of 15 years, Gillian Moody. Almost exactly one year later, Gillian was completely blindsided by her husband leaving, and it was Carolyn she called in shock and confusion for guidance.
In FORTY, both women share what they learned about themselves, each other, and how they forged a new-look life – starting, oddly enough, with their respective toilets. (Don’t ask, just listen!)
Two very different divorce experiences later, Carolyn and Gill decided to launch Australia’s first divorce club, a ‘breakup triage’ program to link women struggling through the first stages of separation with professionals and support. And do you know which month is unofficially recognised as ‘Divorce Month’? Yep, it’s January – which is why we launch in 2022 with an interview to lay out the cold, hard facts with the warm honesty of ladies who’ve been there and bought the postcard in their forties.

At 40, Cath Wallis realised she had no hobbies – having focussed entirely on her career and family - and decided to carve out time for herself by signing up for a 100km trek, after only walking as far as 5km around her local lake. As you do.
Now 45, Cath has completed seven ultra-marathons, trekked across frozen Mongolian lakes, sand dunes in the Gobi Desert, and even swum from Europe to Asia. More importantly, she’s helping break barriers around endurance events being only suited to young and/or athletic folk.
As a self-proclaimed plus-size adventurer at 110kg, Cath’s all about living life BIG in the body she has. Not only has she got the mental and physical toughness to conquer challenges, but she’s ditched the fear and embarrassment around not being ‘the best’; not always needing to excel, instead just needing to enjoy.
Every woman has a story to tell. This is Cath’s.

On the cusp of turning forty and having her third child, 39-year-old Jo Tucker lost 90 per cent of her hair in two weeks.
What followed was an ‘Alopecia Universalis’ diagnosis, a testing road to self-acceptance, a great love affair with wigs, and a redefinition of what it means to feel beautiful.
Now 41, Jo shares her story of living with Alopecia and how it challenged so much of what she thought she knew about herself.
Our chat with Jo is a masterclass in wig culture, finding confidence in the face of adversity, and silver linings. (spoiler alert: according to Jo, the feeling of rain on a bald head is next level amazing!)
Every woman has a story to tell. This is Jo’s.
