Wheat and corn are trading their way higher while soybeans reverse lower; it's essentially the opposite of Monday trading. We discuss the grain, livestock and outside markets with Arlan Suderman of StoneX in our Midday Commentary.
Soybeans shot higher as traders watch the latest weather forecasts for South America while wheat most likely saw a round of profit taking to start the week. What did this mean for corn? A whole lot of nothing. We discuss what is moving in the grain and livestock trade with John Heinberg from Total Farm Marketing. Learn more at https://www.totalfarmmarketing.com.

We see soybeans higher, wheat lower and corn largely stuck in the middle on Monday. Livestock trade is a mixed bag and there is a slew of economic data set to release this week. We discuss the markets to start the week with Arlan Suderman, Chief Commodities Economist at StoneX.
USDA dropped their December WASDE Report on Friday morning with little fanfare as it was a quiet report (which is typical for December). There were a few minor changes to the U.S. and global balance sheets but overall the markets took the report in stride and grains saw some profit taking into the weekend. Meantime, was the cattle rally a "dead cat bounce" or are we finally finding a bottom in the cattle trade?
We discuss the markets to wrap up the week, recap the WASDE and more today with DuWayne Bosse from Bolt Marketing LLC. Learn more online at https://www.boltmarketingllc.com.

The December WASDE Report from USDA is here and......it was mostly a snooze fest. Not many changes at all to the U.S. and world balance sheets on the grain side but there were a few of note including a drop in U.S. corn and wheat ending stocks due to higher exports. We discuss the WASDE and get market analysis from Arlan Suderman, Chief Commodities Economist at StoneX.
The grains and oilseeds had a solid day to the upside on Thursday led by soybeans and soybean oil. Active weekly export sales numbers and good money flow helped the trade one day ahead of the December WASDE Report. Meantime, the protein sector continues to struggle. We discuss the markets and get perspective from Bryan Doherty, Senior Market Advisor with Total Farm Marketing. Learn more at https://www.totalfarmmarketing.com.
Also, we get a look at the newest global protein outlook for 2024 from Rabobank. Lance Zimmerman, Senior Analyst-Animal Protein with Rabobank joins us to discuss the report and talk about the volatility in the cattle market recently.
