Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!! No program scheduled for Wednesday, December 25th.
On today's show, we headed into the Christmas holiday with a fairly quiet trade overall as soybeans were up slightly and wheat was under a little pressure. We discuss South American weather, fund positions, risk management and more across grains and livestock with Cory Bratland from AgMarket.net on today's show.
Plus, we hear a recent conversation with Eric Best from Deltapine about their new cotton product launches for 2025.
Markets on Tuesday are pretty quiet ahead of the Christmas holiday. We talk with Arlan Suderman from StoneX ahead of the holiday break for some thoughts on the grain and livestock markets from Tuesday.
As we entered into the Christmas holiday week, Congress is delivering a present to U.S. farmers in terms of economic aid. What does this mean for the markets and the ag economy? Is it a good or bad thing? Also, what can we expect in this market trade as we close out 2024?
Tommy Grisafi with Nesvick Trading and Ag Bull Media joins us for that conversation on today's show. More at https://www.nesvick.com or https://www.agbull.com.

Also, as we close out the year we take a look at the weather forecast moving into 2025. Largely, it looks like a quiet Christmas forecast but maybe some pesky drought concerns moving into next spring? We discuss with Eric Snodgrass from Conduit in our Weekly Weather Update. More at https://www.ag-wx.com.
Grain and livestock markets are fairly quiet as we kickoff the Christmas holiday week with a little strength in the wheat markets overall. Arlan Suderman, Chief Commodities Economist at StoneX, joins us to take a look at the early week market action.
We saw the soy complex with a nice rebound to close out the week on Friday while the rest of the grains and livestock were mostly higher as well. Many traders seemed to be squaring positions ahead of the holiday week ahead.
On today's show, we get an update on South America's growing conditions and the market impacts with Dr. Michael Cordonnier from Soybean and Corn Advisor Inc. Plus, we take a look at the year in the markets and look ahead to 2025 with Steve Nicholson, Global Sector Strategist for Grains & Oilseeds with Rabobank.
Soybeans have found support to end the week with the rest of the grains and livestock also mostly higher on Friday. We talk market action to close out the week with Arlan Suderman from StoneX.
As we near the end of the year, many in the trade are keeping a close eye on the demand picture, exports and more. We welcome David Brock from The Brock Report to the show to take a look at the grain markets and discuss whether or not we could see another bull run in corn as we move into 2025. Find more at https://www.brockreport.com.
Plus, after a bloodbath on Wednesday in the soy complex, we gained back about half of what we lost. Was it a "dead cat bounce" as traders like to say? Bryan Doherty from Total Farm Marketing joins us to discuss that, exports, perspective on risk management and a look at a volatile dairy market. Learn more at https://www.totalfarmmarketing.com.
We see a bit of a rebound in the soy complex at midday with a mixed bag elsewhere. Arlan Suderman from StoneX joins us to talk grains, livestock and the latest Federal Reserve decision.
The soy complex took a beating on Wednesday, setting new contract lows with bean futures down over 25 cents on the session. Could all of this pressure lead to sub $9 soybean futures soon? Plus, we got a new interest rate move from the Federal Reserve and more fallout from the proposed economic aid for farmers by Congress. Mike Zuzolo with Global Commodity Analytics joins us for a conversation. Find more online and sign up for a free trial at https://www.globalcommresearch.com.
We see heavy pressure in soybeans at midday on Wednesday with mixed action elsewhere. Arlan Suderman, Chief Commodities Economist at StoneX, joins us to look at grains, thoughts on the Federal Reserve meeting wrapping up today and livestock trade at midweek.
