I have such a beautiful guest on the show today and if you don’t know her already, you’ll definitely want to get to know her after listening to this episode. Today I speak with the amazing Emily Osmond and we talk all about following your most authentic path in business.  

Amongst many things, Emily is a marketing coach and runs an incredibly successful business with one of the most beautiful brands I’ve ever seen. It would be easy to look at her business and assume she’s always known exactly what she’s doing but in this episode, Emily shares how her path into entrepreneurship was a winding path filled with many challenges along the way. 

Emily talks about her career journey starting out in journalism and how she eventually found her passion for coaching small business owners in all things marketing. Emily shares her experience quitting her full-time job to pursue her own business and how a spreadsheet helped her narrow down her direction even further to focus on what she truly wanted to do. We talk about the bravery required to go with what feels fulfilling and not necessarily what makes sense on a practical or financial level.

We talk about the challenges business owners face when choosing to pivot the direction of their business but that it’s so important to lean into what your heart is saying. We talk about Instagram, the importance of being personal and authentic and Emily shares some great practical tips on how to build a richer audience engagement.
