Being in total control of your day can actually be a little intimidating and overwhelming. So, what do most of us do when we're overwhelmed?!...Nothing. Whomp Whomp. It can lead to massive Netflix binging, mindless social media scrolling--> followed by social media debating--> that leads to deep intense rage. Or maybe you go the phone app or video game route and totally forget to move your body for hours on end. Of course, some people go in the opposite direction and structure a hyper-strict routine and system to keep everything on GO all day long. Now, maybe you're someone who enjoys a stern schedule or maybe that completely turns you off. Either way, you absolutely don't have to go that route and there is a very simple solution which I share in today's episode that's dedicated to helping you find that sweet sweet balance. Want the shortcut to amazing holistic, clutter-free spaces?

This episode was really hard for me because I'm talking about some ugly topics. I'm talking about toxic home environments and I don't mean chemicals and toxins, I mean toxic relationships and emotionally toxic homes. Right now, in the middle of a pandemic with quarantines, there's a huge increase in domestic violence and addiction. Not to mention, for many people, negative and toxic home environments are the norm. I'm not an expert in domestic violence or addiction but I believe this is a subject that deserves a conversation and I do have personal experience with toxic living situations. This is intended to be a message of hope and a resource for ideas. Want the shortcut to amazing holistic, clutter-free spaces?

Today I'm sharing my chat with Nurse Practitioner, Gracienne Jean-Pierre. Gracienne is offering resources to nurses for Nurses' Week and invited me over to share how to create a holistic zone in your home for nurses who are currently overworked and needing to build up their energy and immune systems. This is a great episode for anyone who is currently overworked and needing some kind of emergency support space at home but, of course, it's dedicated to the nurses out there! So, here we are. Things are weird. And while the healthiest approach is to be flexible and release a bit, we still need to feel some semblance of space and control. This should be a time to really benefit from a supportive home space and absolutely not the time to add in another struggle (i.e. an obstacle course of mess and destruction).
In today's episode, I'm sharing the 3 most impactful shifts I've made that have really helped to keep the ship smooth sailing and somewhat under control around here. Want the shortcut to amazing holistic, clutter-free spaces.

We've had a few weeks to settle into this temporary new way of living with COVID-19 and I kinda feel like I'm mastering this whole isolation thing (at least for the time being). I'm here in this episode sharing the 5 most rewarding things I'm doing to keep myself feeling good and to prevent the slump that can come when our time markers are removed (i.e. when time starts bleeding together because the daily routines have been removed). I'll also share an app that I've been using to keep the time loss at bay. Want the shortcut to amazing holistic, clutter-free spaces?

Today, we have Stephanie Seferian, the host of The Sustainable Minimalist Podcast, sharing about the connection between minimalism and sustainable living. What do you do when you want to declutter or practice minimalism but dumping all of your stuff in a landfill doesn't sit well with you? Stephanie had the same question and created a space for others who would love to reduce the waste while also reducing the clutter. Want the shortcut to amazing holistic, clutter-free spaces?
