It's challenging to go through divorce while also trying to manage "self care", including watching your eating habits. So many of us fall into unhealthy eating patterns - either stress eating too much or not eating at all due to the stress. There is a simple solution in "mindful eating", which can actually allow you to eat what you want and need, when you want and need it. It's really being aware of your choices, being aware of every bite you take and enjoying the food that you're eating. The choices we make impact our blood levels and stress levels, so if we keep reaching for the wrong things, we can actually be adding stress rather than reducing it.
