In our conversation, I also open up about the moment my business journey began. I had just returned to work after my first baby and was met with a deeply unjust experience. I knew I could not stay so I resigned, walked away, and decided to begin again as a digital entrepreneur. No business background. No mentor. Just my iPhone, my son, and a fierce desire to create something of my own.

I've learned that I needed an audience so I used what I had and decided to master Instagram. I wrote captions during breastfeeds and I listened to podcasts and did online courses while I walked the pram. I used my voice to build an aligned community and create a freedom filled business.

So many women connect with this story because it is our collective story. Rather than hiding it in shame, we get to use it to connect and lead… this episode is an invitation to do just that.
