I created a new website called Hum n Play. It has games and activities to help with the healing journey. Some are stress relievers, others are designed to help you reflect and connect with your emotion, and some are just plain fun. I consider it a science museum for the inner world because maybe through exploration you’ll even learn something about yourself.

Unfortunately in today's world, having an unhealthy relationship with our body can be all too common. I, for one, have felt like I am at war with my body for many years. Today I talk openly about my own struggles with body image. I also answer 2 questions: one from someone who has always felt like the "fat friend" and one from someone who has stopped eating due to anxiety.
If you feel like you need help with an eating disorder, please reach out to the National Eating Disorder Hotline at (800) 931-2237 or visit their website here.

The effects of bullying can manifest in our lives in all different ways. In this episode, I dive into the details of how I recently healed layers of my bully wound by looking at the effects of “mean girls” from my high school, and what it looked like for me to do the inner work around this trauma. I also answer a question from someone with low self-esteem from childhood bullying, and someone who wants to move forward and stop caring what childhood bullies think of them today.

With a world filled with social media, many of us find ourselves comparing our lives to others more than ever before. The result of this is comparison syndrome. In today’s episode, I discuss why comparison holds us back, what I’ve learned about comparison in my own life, how to start looking at our triggers around comparison and jealousy, and why it’s important to not let comparison stop you from following your dreams.

Sobriety has been such a gift I’ve given myself, but that doesn’t mean it’s always easy. In this episode, I give an update of where I’m at with my sober journey, and I discuss the moment I knew I needed to change my relationship with alcohol. I also answer two questions - the first is from a person looking for advice on how to stick with sobriety (especially when times are hard) and the second is about how forgiveness is a key step throughout our sober journeys.

In this episode, I discuss why I believe life isn't fair and how when we can let go of the lie that life was ever supposed to be fair, we can empower ourselves to move forward and heal. I also talk about how healing from childhood sexual assault taught me this lesson and how by realizing life was never meant to be fair, I was able to move forward. I also answer 2 questions - one about someone's relationship with their alcoholic mother and an athlete who's injury has left them no longer able to play sports and how this has left them feeling sad and that life isn't fair.
