Healthy communication creates safety, trust, and intimacy in relationships. Unfortunately, many of us did not learn how to communicate in healthy ways when we were younger, and can end up playing out unhealthy communication patterns when we are adults. In this episode, I talk about codependency, what it is, and why it’s often the culprit to unhealthy communication patterns. I also answer a question from a listener looking for advice on how to communicate with an anxious partner, and another question from a listener looking for advice on how to communicate about sensitive issues.

I created a new website called Hum n Play. It has games and activities to help with the healing journey. Some are stress relievers, others are designed to help you reflect and connect with your emotion, and some are just plain fun. I consider it a science museum for the inner world because maybe through exploration you’ll even learn something about yourself.

In this episode, I answer questions from listeners who are questioning whether they should get back together with their ex after a break up. The first question is from a listener whose long-term relationship ended because of infidelity, but is now wondering whether they should take back their ex. The second questions is from a listener who feels torn between giving his partner another chance or letting the relationship go. Throughout the episode, I offer different perspectives and questions to ask yourself when deciding if it’s the right choice to get back together with your ex and tools for healing hard feelings.

Healing from shame can feel overwhelming when we don’t know where to start. In this episode, I discuss the topic of shame with Sophia Wise One (@sophiawiseone). We talk about what shame is, techniques for healing from it, and where we’ve seen shame arise in our own lives and how looking at this shame allowed us to free ourselves from it.

Many people who cheat on their partners find it hard to move on and forgive themselves. They can often live with regrets for years. In today’s episode, I answer two questions from people carrying around the burdens of the past and who are having trouble moving forward. I answer one question from someone wondering if they should send a letter to their ex about their cheating, and another question from someone who finds that the waves of regret about how they handled their break up still arise in their life years later.

This episode focuses on questions about how to heal from cheating on your partner, specifically when alcohol was involved. Over the past few months I have received many questions from listeners who cheated on their partners when they had been drinking and now regret it. Today I start with focusing on how and why it’s important to become curious about our relationship with alcohol in order to heal. I also answer a question about how to start this journey of healing from cheating in a relationship, and another question from someone who doesn’t know why they cheated and is looking for help forgiving themselves.

Healing from being cheated on in a relationship takes time, patience, and a lot of self-love. In this week’s episode I answer two questions, one from someone who was cheated on in their relationship and wants to know if taking someone back who’s cheated is the best choice for them, and one about why do people who were cheated on return to the relationships that hurt them. I also talk about forgiveness and why we choose to forgive for ourselves, not for anyone else.

In part 2 of 2, the conversation about intuition and inner guidance continues with Hollywood Success Coach, Erica Wernick. In this episode, Erica and I answer two listener questions, the first one is about differentiating between intuition and insecurity. And the second one is about how sometimes we feel like we’re meant for something and that our intuition led us there, but what do we do when these opportunities don’t work out?
