I have been struggling a little bit recently. Mentally and physically I have felt low, frustrated, and just generally stuck. It can be hard to get yourself out of that kind of situation when you don't know what the root cause is.
And I don't know what the root cause is.
But one of the things which helps me manage it is to remind myself of what I do have which I know is going well, and showing appreciation for it daily. It might be something someone else did for me, it might be someone else just being in my life, it might be something I did for myself.
But I have realised how important it is to appreciate these things, especially when times are tough.
In this episode we're diving into the kind of dark and ominous reasons why you should show appreciation and gratitude daily, and some ways to actually practice this too.
When times are tough, sometimes the best way we can lift ourselves is by lifting others. And this is as good a starting point as any.
